Welcome to Old Earth Farm!
|
Old Earth Farm is a 35-acre farm located in the historic, Oley Valley. The original house on the property was built circa 1730, and is still standing, just behind the main 1828 farmhouse. Prior to the arrival of the European settlers, the land the farm now occupies was the site of Native American gatherings and encampments, and is just a few yards away from the great Sacred Oak; the largest yellow oak in North America and a meeting place of ritual importance to the Lenape people. Old Earth Farm is located at the bottom of this fertile valley, rich with natural springs, limestone, and nutrients; which combine to create soil that is extremely vital and healthy; the perfect foundation for organic farming practices that generate outstanding, nutritious meats and produce with exceptional flavor, perfect for the health-enthusiast, and gourmet alike.

Our goal is to be a full-spectrum farm, providing a wide array of healthy, real-food from our farm to your table and integrating our systems to be ecologically sound. We're proud to offer fine, grass-fed, heritage-breed beef; grass-fed lamb; and heritage-breed, pastured pork. Poultry and eggs should be available mid-to-late summer. All Old Earth animals are free-range on pasture, and always have plenty of clean, fresh water and space to roam. Our bees provide plenty of raw, unheated, unfiltered honey and we have an extensive garden, producing a variety of vegetables and herbs that will please even the most devoted foodie.
Our on-farm bakery and kitchen produce fresh breads, granola, jams, pies, cakes and all sorts of lovely baked goods and desserts. Our friendly dairy cow Lucy makes sure we have a daily supply of sweet, delicious raw milk, cream, butter, cheese, and buttermilk. We are in the process of becoming licensed to sell raw milk at the farm.
Old Earth farm is pleased to be here, providing a fresh, wholesome food alternative for the families in our community. |

The irrigation is finally in! After alot of worrying and planning, the huge job of installing 13-acres of irrigation is complete! We are ready to go! Thanks to all who helped! In the picture on the right, Stu builds an enclosure for the irrigation unit in the barn - that man can build anything!
